Having become financially free a few years ago, my current role is to continue to explore new property investment strategies to increase property wealth. I have decided to broaden my risks and currently the strategies I am pursuing are residential buy-to-let with a particular emphasis on high-cash flowing strategies including Houses in Multiple Occupancy (HMOs) and Advanced LHA (Housing Benefit). Always pragmatic, I look at property as an investment vehicle over the mid to long term (ie build wealth slowly). Until recently I was also the local representative for the National Landlords Association (NLA) and ran their branch meetings in Nottingham and Derby. This really helped take my residential lettings knowledge to the next level and I have also made some great contactsI believe education is paramount to be truly successful so regularly attend seminars/course. I also give talks at property events to inform, educate and hopefully inspire others to consider property invest as a wealth creation vehicle. Success in property is dependent on good portfolio management so one of my roles is to support my co-director in managing our own portfolio to maximise profit
