I am collaborating both externally and internally to support the organization's plate growth strategy.Some of my responsibilities include: - Support the creation and development of plate specifications. - Work with the operations and engineering teams, as well as outside suppliers, to create new or improved processes to enhance plate manufacturing capabilities. - Work with internal and external customers to drive a continuous improvement culture around design, manufacturing, and installation. - Understand the manufacturing processes in detail for all plate products and aid in product development by assisting in research and development. - Responsible for continually improving internal and external manufacturing standards and fabrication capabilities. - Responsible for technical aspects of fabrication repair procedures. - Responsible for technical audit support. - Responsible for supporting more sustainable building operations improvements. - Support production control and lean manufacturing ideas and principles. - Assist in the development of SOPs specifically focused on the plate-manufacturing process. - Work with our operations and engineering teams to streamline the inventory of plate products and hardware. - Responsible for continually improving product ease of assembly (guidance, product enhancement, construction guides). - Work with manufacturing and engineering teams to help streamline and implement controls on processes. - Support innovations on clean energy. - Manage the development and maintenance of plate-related sales tools. - Train the sales team to use tools and develop expertise within the company. - Work with the marketing team to organize the promotion of plate products.
