• Oversaw research in the Global Human Body Models Consortium project to create and improve human body models as a low-cost method for testing the safety of cars, military vehicles, and space craft, with responsibility.
• Developed a tool that enabled users to “switch” between simplified and detailed models to decrease active safety simulation time by up to 40x through an iterative morphing approach using a limited number of anatomical.
• Simplified model enhancement by evaluating and improving thoracic and joint response for increased model biofidelity as well as improved kinematic agreement with the detailed model
• Conducted active safety systems assessments of frontal collision warning, pre-crash brake assist, and autonomous braking systems, demonstrating the potential for active safety systems to decrease injury risk during.
• Created a rib injury tool using Python for repeatable evaluation of rib-related injuries, eliminating human error from visual impact assessments and providing more accurate correlation of model response to PMHS fractures
• Managed the data processing aspects of a human body imaging project for the U.S. Army to create human models for a range of body types and postural positions for use in the study of the impact of various injuries

• Co-founded a start-up technology firm to test, develop, and market a child tracking device for parents, with responsibility for designing all circuitry and working with Verizon for certification and sale of the device

• Managed a three-member research group in running tolerability trials using a new gel formulation combined with high definition transcranial direct current stimulation, resulting in a strict model for testing.
• Reduced costs by more than 50% by sourcing new vendors and negotiating more favorable pricing with electrode manufacturers
