To me, writing code isn't much different from writing words. Both activities require you to be creative and think for yourself, since there often isn't a single "right" answer to a problem. Both involve taking concepts you've learned and finding inventive ways to use and synthesize them, since there will always be new problems that are not quite the same as what you've dealt with before. Both are reflections of yourself, since they reveal all the habits, paradigms, and philosophies you've learned and developed over your career. And most importantly, both give you the potential to create something that's never existed in the world before.Both are also used to create endless amounts of junk, with spam bots and clickbait articles achieving the feat of using both at once. While it's somewhat impressive in its own way, I don't plan to add to that junk. I want to create something worthwhile. I'm currently searching for a career where I can further develop my skills as a programmer and a creative.
