LGBT YouthLine is a 2SLGBTQ+ youth-led organization that provides leadership opportunities and peer support to youth (29 and under) across Ontario. Some highlights from my time with the organization:- Joined when there was uncertainty of organizational sustainability; grew organizationfrom <$300,000 to over $1,400,000, through diversified funding streams that included a balance ofnew/increased government grants, multi-year corporate and foundation grants, and fundraising.- Grew staff team from 3.8 FTE to 16 FTE - added a management team and operations department to support organizational growth (in size, programming, and reach)- Launched a province-wide leadership program, focused on deepening regional/local partnerships tostrengthen 2SLGBTQ+ youth leadership.- During the pandemic, developed and implemented a multi-year plan to make HelpLine a fully remote operation (including volunteers from all parts of Ontario)- Won 'Best Youth Organization' from NOW Magazine for two years in a row Show less

- Recruited and supported and LGBTQ Youth Advisory Committee, comprised mostly of trans and BIPOC youth- Worked on the creation of a social marketing campaign challenging homophobia, biphobia, transphobia among youth. Process was run entirely with a youth working group supporting each process.- Worked on the initial stages of creating a new service guide for LGBTQ Youth Services and Programs

Coordinate a peer education program for sexual health information (Teen Health Source). I also managed the social media presence of Planned Parenthood Toronto running campaigns such as #SupportSexEd.

- Carried out primary and secondary market research, including interviewing cultural and immigrant groups, to identify key barriers to participation in the organizations programming- Created and administered a survey which sought responses from individuals to further identify accessibility issues within the environmental sector- Created a marketing research report identifying key barriers and solutions to these issues to increase participation from the multicultural community of Canada

- Coordinated marketing and sales of a 4000 student concert at Wonderland which exceeded projected turnout by 15%- Recruited 100 volunteers within 2 months to revive the Unions' campus life team, in turn creating a stronger organization presence at Orientation Week and Homecoming
