After receiving promotion from Kimzey's Coffee in a new HR position within the company, I was able to build a new position and bring a greater sense of structure and accountability within our quickly growing company. I created job titles, descriptions and wage brackets, created & communicated company policies to staff, and managed payroll, hiring, firing and discipline for 4 locations. I also worked closely with other board members and executives to solve problems, develop new processes for operations, and address staff concerns.

Managed operations of Kimzey's Coffee location of Voltage Coffee Project. I began at Kimzey's as a part time barista while attending school and soon began working full time in order to learn and grow in a professional environment. Throughout my nearly 4 years at Kimzey's I was able to cultivate skills in leadership & staff development as well as basic bookkeeping and administrative tasks before receiving promotion into a new HR position for the company as a whole.
