CurrentManage Day to day operations of Purchasing and Contracts Management Departments Hires, and supervises staff on accordance with personnel policies and procedures including Orientation and training, providing career development advice, establishing employee goals, conducting performance reviews, coaching, counseling and disciplining staff and recommending terminations if needed.Procures equipment, supplies and services at the best value possible for the organization or enterprise partners. Prepares bids and solicitations within established procurement procedures and applicable laws, reviews departmental requests, communicates with vendors, negotiates price and terms and conditions of items or services. Develops and manages ongoing outreach efforts to Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) vendors to ensure awareness and promote participation in informal and formal solicitations.Provides on-going contract administration by working with customers and/or end users to ensure that contractor fully performs their contractual obligations. Provides contract management in conjunction with agency personnel to ensure the contractor meets all standards for performance. Provides monthly updates to Central Health Board Of Managers, Enterprise Executive, Department Liaison between contract administrators, Department executives and legal counsel during contract review and formation.
