AHIS is a full-fledged, large scale Health care solution developed in J2EE platform. Amrita HIS is now implemented at many hospitals throughout India and a few hospitals in US. The main focus area is on the integration of clinical as well as financial and administrative applications. Amrita HIS uses multi-tier architecture and follows the Model View Controller (MVC) design pattern. High affinity towards open source makes it always profitable to use. It is one among the few hospital information systems in world, certified under CCHIT (Highest certification standard in United States in Healthcare) and ISO (International Organization for Standardization).Major responsibilities handled:• Designing and developing new features, components and functionality to existing systems• Generalizing and made configurable the developed features• Handled code slowness issues by code optimization• Mentoring team members and Code review• Technologies Used: Java, JSP, JDO, JDBC, DHTML, JavaScript, JQuery, JasperReports, EJB, SOFIA, Docker Server : Tomcat. Database : MySQL• Project 2 : AMRITA QMS• As part of Amrita Health Information System (AHIS) we have developed Queue Management System and token display features. The Amrita QMS itself accesses the AHIS. The application mainly helps patients to have a good time management with the token display functions across billing service orders etc. With Amrita QMS token display the users can access and monitor the patient waiting time appointment time etc in the hospital.Major responsibilities handled:• Designing and developing QMS• Handled REST calls• UI development, Bug fixing.• Integrated QMS functionality with external display system application• Mentoring team members and Code review• Technologies Used: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST,Java,alert manager,Remote EJB calls Server : Wildfly, Tomcat
