Cataract Refractive Manager/Medical Device/Buy & Bill Injectables/Biologics/Multiple President's Club Wins

I was recruited into the highest-level sales role to launch Beovu (buy & bill injectable, anti-VEGF for wet age-related macular degeneration) in an extremely competitive market calling on Retina Specialists and Ophthalmologists in Colorado, Wyoming, and Rapid City South Dakota. • Earned 2019 President’s Club for ranking Top 10% in the US out of 60 specialists. • Overcame challenges and physician objections to using the medication due to temporary J-code during Q4 2019 launch and finished Top 5 in US with sales at 177% of quota. • Ranked #2 in the US during the first two months of 2020; trending 224% to goal for current trimester. • Generated an immediate impact on sales growth by capitalizing on relationships with Retina Specialists and selling clinical advantages of the medication versus other treatment options. • Maximize patient access to treatment by educating clinics on buy & bill reimbursement for product pull through. • Selected by leadership as 1 of 6 Regional Sales Trainers in the US. • Strategic collaboration with cross functional partners including MSL, thought leader liaison, access-reimbursement, and account engagement team.

I sold Ozurdex (injectable buy & bill optical implant containing dexamethasone in the NOVADUR solid polymer sustained-release drug delivery system) for treating diabetic macular edema (DME), retina vein occlusion (RVO), and Uveitis. I called on medical and surgical Ophthalmology Retina Specialists (private practice and institutional based) in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, and Rapid City, South Dakota. • Achieved over 10% growth with over $5.0 million in total sales for 2018. • Produced 17% growth with total sales of $4.7+ million for 2017. • Won 2016 and 2017 Knock Out Sales Award, ranking Top 4 for highest sales volume in US. • Generated 18% growth in the 4th largest high-volume territory in 2016. • Won 2016 West Region Managers Award for performance and leadership (awarded to one rep per region). • Achieved high level of market penetration with 85% of physicians injecting the product. • Provided clinical and technical product knowledge and in-services for academic centers (residents/fellows), Ophthalmology Retina Specialists, nurses, and ophthalmic technicians on injection procedure and injector device. • Consulted with physician practices on buy & bill Medicare Part B reimbursement and problem solving.

Achieved a strong record of results in the challenging Northern Colorado territory using a clinical-based sales approach to drive revenue growth and market share for the Multiple Sclerosis portfolio: Tysabri (buy & bill monoclonal antibody - Multiple Sclerosis and Crohn’s disease infusion biologic), Tecfidera (oral), and Avonex (IM injectable), and Plegridy (sub Q injectable) (products used to treat relapsing forms of Multiple Sclerosis). Called on, influenced prescribing habits, and built long-term relationships/credibility with top prescribing Neurologists. A few of my key accomplishments: • Overcame complex reimbursement challenges in 2014 by generating 120% of the Q1 2014 patient prescription goal for Tecfidera, 100.2% of Avonex sales goal in Q2 2014, and 100.8% of Tysabri new patient infusion goal. • Achieved "tremendous productivity and results" in 2013 producing 102.3% of Q2 Tysabri goal (vs 99.8% national average) and 100.2% of Q3 goal; contributed franchise share lead of 6% over national share at the end of Q3. • Won Regional 2012 MVP Peer Recognition Award based on total sales performance, initiative, teamwork, communication, idea sharing, positive influence, and business acumen. • Selected as Regional Field Trainer in 2013, 2014, and 2015, leading and facilitating presentations/workshops at regional, divisional, and national sales meeting on advanced selling topics including Provocative Probing, Segmentation, Influencing Prescriber Habits, and Growth Mindset. • Recognized in performance reviews by Regional Director: "You continue to show real leadership within our region...I value the skills, positive attitude, and leadership you bring to our regional team...Amy's selling ability is just as impressive as her training ability...my job of creating success within this region is easier due to your efforts."

I generated an immediate impact on sales and market share growth during the successful launch of Nuvigil (treatment for excessive sleepiness caused by sleep apnea, narcolepsy, or shift work sleep disorder) and achieved top rankings during subsequent years by calling on Neurologists, Pulmonologists, Psychiatrists, and Pain Specialists in parts of Northern Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska. Sales results: • Won the 2010 Representative of the Year and 2010 President's Club for total sales performance as #12 ranked specialist (out of 390) in the US. • Selected as District Trainer in 2010 and 2011 and was Guest Trainer for new hire training at home office in April 2010. • Transformed an underperforming territory from ranking #366 (out of 388 nationally) in April 2008 to #41 in the US with a President's Club Ranking of Top 50 nationally.
