General Manager of Connecting Kids With Care™, an innovative, not-for-profit technology initiative of Jackson Healthcare which works to expand worldwide access to quality healthcare, with a focus on orphaned and abandoned children. A majority of our work focuses on adoption medical assessment, urgent and episodic care, chronic disease care plans, chart reviews with physician collaboration, feeding and therapy plans, and clinical decision making. These diagnoses have a broad range of impacts for the children and their caregivers. The children access better immediate care, prospective adoptive parents are able to anticipate and plan lifetime care and local doctors benefit from specialist collaboration. This has been a multinational and multiplatform technology program based on a mix of open and proprietary standards.Since launching in July 2016, Connecting Kids with Care™ has served more than 2,000 children from more than 100 humanitarian organizations in 17 countries across 15 medical specialties.

Cofounded healthcare technology company at the Georgia Advanced Technology Development Center, using an iOS/Android mobile app to bring telemedicine to the consumer world. Grew the company from a coffee meeting to an ATDC Signature Company with a dozen full time employees and more than 20 contractors, generated more than 75,000 downloads, launched local and international CSR programs, completed three funding rounds, and successfully wrapped up operations after negotiating perpetual licenses for the best-in-class technology.

Founded buy-side equity analysis and management firm. Clients included hedge funds, banks, and several family trusts/offices. Investment research targets included private and public companies at all stages of development. Investment and acquisition responsibilities included all aspects of strategy and implementation, from target discovery through valuation, structure and negotiation. Completed investments and acquisitions in five countries. Management projects included a complete platform turnover for the largest mobile gambling company in the world, 50% budget-paring plan and implementation for an NAS software developer, and management recruiting and replacement for a glasses-less 3D screen manufacturer.

Recruited by the founder of RealTime Gaming to diversify and increase the value of his holdings, through private investment. Private acquisitions and investment varied from a micro-capital business loan network and equity investments in food services to several software-based ventures. Responsible for end-to-end supervision of the entire process, including various management responsibilities for vehicles after investment.

Promoted four times in three years at the largest casino software provider in the United States. Recruited in application design, and grew to lead multidisciplinary development of new games and architecture. Worked directly with the Board of Directors to lead the company in areas of M&A, regulatory compliance, fraud control, intellectual property management and strategic partnerships. Led regulatory and intellectual property projects in several jurisdictions, while responding to such public crises as multimillion-dollar winners, software and release faults, and attempted client and player fraud.

Primary research, under the academic advisement of Professor Amy S. Bruckman, explored the societal and cultural implications of online communication. Created and sustained as part of this research an award-winning online community with members from more than 80 countries on every continent. This achievement was featured in the press in more than 20 languages, presented at more than a dozen academic conferences in less than three years, and led to numerous invited talks and keynote presentations. Solicited, secured and maintained funding from the National Science Foundation, Microsoft Research, and Intel, among other sources. Completed qualifying oral and written examinations and all graduate coursework necessary for degree.

Selected as one of two doctoral students to join the Virtual Worlds research group at the largest software company in the world. Completed both unsupervised and team-based research and product development in electronic communication, commerce and socialization. Presented research findings to both product and research groups. Research culminated in co-authorship of an issued patent in online community design and multiple conference publications

Chosen as one of seven undergraduates nationally to participate in graduate level research at this private, independent and multidisciplinary research center. Worked with both internal postdoctoral researchers and external faculty in the area of computational complexity. Team research culminated in co-authorship of IEEE conference proceedings and JSS papers, in the area of non-associative quasigroup generation and expression.

Assisted in the development of advanced technology solutions for the largest entertainment company in the United States. Primary area of research was creative design of World Wide Web based tools and technology for timely and effective information delivery and community building for both internal and external users. Developed products and frameworks that remained in place for more than five years.
