Working as a Systems Software Engineer for the Deep Learning Profiler Team.

This is my 3rd 6-month rotation of the PSU PCEP internshop program. I worked as part of an agile team to deliver software every 2 weeks. Specifically, I supported account openings and identity investigations.

This is my 2nd 6-month rotation of the PSU PCEP internship program. I have built and continue to support a program to automatically upload log files to AWS Cloudwatch. Additionally, I help manage our terraform repositories to update system privileges.

I spent 6 months at this company as part of the PSU PCEP internship program. I was in charge of implementing greenfield testing automation for an existing project. I also supported a team of 4 engineers by testing and verifying development work.

I worked for Professor Karla Fant as a TCSS for CS 202, which deals with learning object oriented design and advanced C++ syntax, and CS 299, which covers the data structures used in CS 202 in more depth. In CS 202, I was responsible for conducting lab sections and answering student questions during labs. In CS 299, I assisted in running the labs, answered student questions, and taught data structure material. I also helped with recitations, where students came with questions on homework and together we debugged project design issues.

I was responsible for collaborating with and supporting the efforts of the Project Manager on medical trial software projects. This included creating new user manuals, generating project specification documentation and verifying the project through testing scripts. Additionally, I provided customer support for over 20 ongoing projects.

I was responsible for testbench development and documentation for a reset subsystem IP block. This started with creating a testplan for the IP block that my group was verifying. From there, I would work on generating code to exercise the test cases that were enumerated in the testplan. I was also responsible for debugging the testbench and implementing bug fixes. I also regularly met with the CAD team to work on lowering our regression duration.

I worked at this processor design company on physical layout for computer chips. We would take hardware designs that had been synthesized and perform the backend design of the chips. This involved performing layout, clock tree synthesis, routing, timing closure, DRC clean up and more. I was responsible for working through the entire tool flow once the design was delivered to our company. In one of the projects I worked on, I helped finalize timing closure at another company, where I was acting as a contractor on behalf of Uniquify.
