DUTIESQuality Assurance – Nondestructive Test Lab- Verify by NDT inspection, that aircraft flight control metal parts are acceptable per the requirements of manufacturing specifications and drawings.- Perform daily setup, quality, reliability and safety checks of inspection equipment per the requirements of ASTM specifications E 1444 and E 1417 for the NDT.

• A nondestructive test engineer working with magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, alternating current field measurement and ultrasonic thickness measurement techniques for the inspection of ferrous and nonferrous.
• Created instructions and procedures for nondestructive testing processes.
• Performed special process audits of vendor NDT processes to verify compliance to engineering requirements.

• Coordinated with various engineering groups to ensure tooling and facilities items were fabricated and inspected according to welding code requirements.
• Reviewed and approved vendor tool fabrication documents to ensure welding compliance to applicable Military, AWS and ASME code requirements.
• Provided visual weld inspections on fabricated tooling, facility and transportation items to ensure weld quality standards were met.
• Monitored/witnessed NDT inspections of vendor supplied items (process tooling, transportation items and facility components).
• Conducted procedure and welder certification tests.
