Lead conceptual and basic design, equipment definition, construction, commissioning and start-up of engineering projects for the Polycarbonate facility in Cartagena (Spain).Main focus in energy projects. (efficiency and management)Responsibilities include: • Independent work designing different process equipments (pumps, furnaces, Heat Exchangers...) and generating the required report for further project development (Conceptual Design Package report) • Work closely with the global technology, engineering and operation teams, funcional leaders and different disciplines experts. • Identify risks and opportunities for delivering creative approaches accordingly. • Supervise quality of execution and design of projects, providing technical support for plant critical equipment definition, installation and operation processes. • Mass balance generation • Play leading and mentoring role with junior process engineers and ensure that best process engineering practices are applied.

My mission as Production Engineer is to support daily operations in the plant, including troubleshooting, plant optimization, equipment resources, debottlenecking, equipment commissioning... Key Responsibilities:• Direct the daily work undertaken by the shifts (55+ plant operators + control panel operators), setting priorities and guidance to achieve untis goals in terms of EHSS, Quality, Production & Cost.• Conduct troubleshooting of plant problems. To succeed I need to engage with different department and roles, to analyze root cause and execute the necessary actions.• Identify improvement opportunities, review design packages...During this 3 years I have taken increasing responsibility with in the unit, becoming the technical reference. Consulted in all the important decisions taken and mentoring new engineers in the area. In this three years I have lead several project which have substantially improved plant performance

• Responsible for the execution of feasibility studies and conceptual process design in support of the effort to reduce investment costs for future PC assets.• Lead the development of Basis of Design packages of plant sections, propose and evaluate improvements in process design & selection of technologies and lead the conceptual process engineering.• Lead the development of Reliability models to validate design capacity for the • Working closely with the global technology teams, operations teams, functional leaders and subject matter experts in developing technical designs for performance improvement of SABIC legacy assets as well as the design of SABIC future assets in line with company strategic objectives to achieve best in class performance.• Project development to optimize capex, opex, asset reliability and quality project execution.

The Operations Development Program (ODP) is an intensive two-year program with three assignments across several different functions. It provides accelerated career growth for graduate engineers and prepared me for technical and future leadership roles within Manufacturing Operations.I did two assignments in different production units at Cartagena site and one assigment at Bergen op Zoom Site (Netherlands)
