• Handle operation of all accounting systems and records, including, but not limited to, cash receipts, expenditures, investments, purchasing, inventory, assets and payroll.• Assists in the development and maintenance of financial reporting systems to insure integrity of finances based on sound accounting procedures and controls.• Fosters a working environment that promotes safe work habits and active participation in the company’s risk management program.• Keeps the Corporate Accounting Division Head informed of issues and activities related to accounting systems.• Ensures that written performance evaluations of supervised employees are completed as required, provides continuous feedback on personnel performance issues, and takes immediate action to recognize achievements and address deficiencies or problems.• Supervise all accounting employees in District 2 and 4 (Pampanga and Pangasinan).• Leads and nurtures a work culture that promotes open, frequent and dynamic communication among staff, stimulating teamwork to accomplish desired goals and objectives.• Assists in the preparation of the annual working Budget, Government reports and Ordinance.• Meets mandated government requirements and filing dates for financial documents.• Additional functions may be essential as designated by the Corporate Accounting Division Head.• Reviews and check requests and purchase order invoices and advise of potential over-expenditures or misappropriation.• Reconciles bank accounts and verify the bank balance with the general ledger.• Supervises all month-end and year-end accounting procedures including preparation and entry of journal entries for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and General Ledger computer systems.• Prepares Monthly Cost analysis report of all stores for management review.

• Act as Accounting Head of PR2 Gas Inc. and PR2 Gas Marketing Inc. • Custodian and co signatory of PR 2 Gas, Inc. revolving fund bank account. • Checks the computation of petty cash voucher, utility bills, government agencies' payables, payroll journal prepared by Payroll Master and approved by the plant manager and see to it that it was properly recorded on the accounting system• Prepares the Journal voucher for transactions not taken up in the other special books of accounts. • Assist accounting staffs of PR2 Gas Inc. and PR2 Gas Marketing Inc. if they have questions regarding the payroll system, inventory system and accounting system • Prepares the computation of monthly output/input tax. • Prepares BIR Alphalist of PR 2 Gas, Inc. • Monitors diesel consumption and prepares accounting entry for encoding to journal voucher. • Checks if all cash sales were properly recorded and deposited. • Attend to other tasks that management may assign from time to time.
