CurrentThough I specialise in treating back problems, sports injuries, cancer care and sub-fertility, I treat a wide range of ailments using complementary therapies. For example, I treat what I call 'testy teens', colicky babies, mothers-to-be and brand new mums. Stress, depression, arthritis and digestive and sinus problems respond well to complementary medicine.I am skilled in sports massage, deep tissue massage, lymphatic drainage massage, ear-candling, aromatherapy, hot stone massage and Indian head massage. I studied traditional Thai massage in Thailand and have just earned a qualification in dry-needling. For my clients, this means that I can offer a number of complementary disciplines for any one problem or ailment. My clients may not even know what treatment they need when they come to me. I’ll take a full history and suggest the most beneficial course of action.I have flexible working hours and a beautiful and relaxing clinic, though I can also treat patients in nursing homes or hospices. I am available to visit businesses and organisations to educate staff on reducing workplace stress and complaints such as back pain or repetitive strain injury caused by poor posture or working practices. I can do a presentation with practical exercises, give massage on site or do a combination, whatever suits the organisation best. This service is ideal for HR managers and anyone implementing an EAP.
