Duties include performing the necessary surveillance over DOD contractors per documented surveillance plans, perform periodic process reviews, and conduct ISO 9001:2008 / AS9100:2009 system audits. As well as perform the required product examinations which are documented in the surveillance plan. Duties also include contract technical reviews, initiating corrective action requests (CAR’s), following up on corrective action requests, issuing delegations to the appropriate subcontractor level when necessary, investigating product quality deficiency reports (PQDR’s), and purchasing product on behalf of the United States Military with the use of Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF).
