Key Account Manager. Responsibilities include new business development, margin enhancement and business development. Selling Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), Health & Safety Products, Cleanroom Consumables & MRO (Maintenance Repair & Operations) to a wide variety of industries including Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, Semi Conductor, Food & Beverage and General Industry. The role involves dealing with a variety of people who have various functions within their organisations which range from Managing Directors, Purchasing Managers, Production Managers, Production Engineers and Procurement Personnel on a one to one level and at Group Board Room Level. I have developed a strong understanding of the distribution business and have created fruitful supplier and customer relationships.

Selling cleanroom consumables to the Pharmaceutical, Semi Conductor, Medical Device & Life Sciences industries. Covering the island of Ireland. The position was an autonomous role where I was solely responsible for developing existing business, establishing new business channels, quotations and customer support working on my own initiative.

My role involved selling high cost capital equipment comprising industrial scales,printing, labeling and software systems to agricultural co-ops, abattoirs, food processors, pharmaceutical, engineering, quarrying etc etc. The position required me to be a confident, articulate person, exhibiting analytical, problem solving , organisational and communication skills and to liaise with all personnel at all levels within customer organisations.
