Jimmy's Hall is a 2014 British-Irish drama film directed by Ken Loach, It was selected to compete for the Palme d'Or in the main competition section at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. I had the pleasure of working as a production assistant of this film in 2013, Ken Loach is one of the most influential film directors of our time. Being a production assistant on this film gave me a hands on insight into how a multi-award wining director correlates the various different departments to produce a film with a large production value.

I created the first family friendly festival in the west coast of Ireland in 2010, The "Temple House Festival", I created, produced and production managed this festival in September 2010 and we won the Best New Festival in Europe award in 2010. I feel very privileged to be the only person in Ireland who has won this award, and was very humble by the words of appreciation by my European counterparts at the award ceremony.
