Currently I am an Engineering Services Manager within the Facilities Team at the Animal Kingdom Park. My primary function is to facilitate the daily opening of the park. This includes being the liaison between our clients and Engineering Services. Our clients include: Food and Beverage, Entertainment, WDI, FAM, Merchandise, Operations, Engineering Base, and Front Services. In this role I resolve client requests to minimize negative guest impact.Before Disney, I was the Chief Engineer for the Hilton Grand Vacations Club at SeaWorld. As the Chief Engineer, I was initially tasked to review all building systems in order to create an automated preventative maintenance program. As the Assistant Director of Property Operations for the Hilton Orlando, I was a member of the pre-opening team. My primary function was to review all building systems in order to establish a training regimen and create a preventative maintenance program. I was also charged with establishing a culture of service driven engineers. Once the resort opened, my responsibilities were expanded to include supervising and leading the operation of the maintenance team. Prior to my employment with Hilton Orlando I was the Chief Mechanical Engineer for the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center. During my tenure there, I reported directly to the Director of Engineering. My main focus was to develop and lead a team of six Engineering Managers and seventy five employees in the day to day operations of the facility. Before my employment with Gaylord Palms Resort, I was employed by Starwood Hotels for nine years at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel and Convention Center. As an Engineering Manager I implemented Starwood Hotels service standards as a benchmark to perform, monitor and follow-up on all daily maintenance.
