I am a Compliance & Risk Management Specialist, Lawyer and Company Secretary. I am a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) with a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance. I specialise in designing and managing effective and efficient governance, risk and compliance architecture. I have facilitated Board and Executive workshops to determine frameworks including Risk Appetite Statements, a methodology to measure risk culture and simplifying Board paper packs and other Governance requirements. I use a Risk v. Reward analysis approach to ensure Risk Management is a facilitator (not a blocker) of good change. I have taken a proactive role in managing risks associated with the services provided by outsourced business partners. My very strong background in risk management, compliance, governance and quality assurance includes more than 25 years’ experience partnering with businesses in the financial services and healthcare sectors to provide strategic guidance and operational support as a valued and trusted advisor.
