Created, designed, and implemented an application to measure and report the performance of a prescription eyeglass manufacturing plant. Software handled order entry, order tracking, and fulfilled order uploads to EDS for billing to the State Medicaid contract, then produced analysis reports meeting the Medicaid contract requirements. System was ready for use on schedule. BBx-style Basic language was used for this completely custom application.Installed and maintained software and hardware to print clothing labels for Georgia's State Olympic Law Enforcement Command laundry services.Upgraded, installed and configured PC hardware, software, printers, AS/400 twinax cards and routers for both connectivity to AS/400 system as well as stand-alone operation, at both the main Atlanta area GCI office site and remote end user sites, located all over Georgia.Diagnosed PC hardware problems - made recommendations for repair and replacement of components, then performed the repairs and replacements when approved.Installed and configured small (3-4 MS-Windows PC workstations) isolated local area networks for CAD and data entry work.
