I am currently working on ground-up and renovation projects building housing for homeless veterans. The buildings will have 55-160 residential units, recreational facilities, activity courts and parking facilities garages and lots. Managed specialty store buildouts as well as remodels, ordering of construction building materials and worked closely with the Design Department, Marketing Department and the Purchasing Department to complete many store openings on time and under budget. Worked closely with Architects and Engineers to complete construction drawings. Worked closely with Building Officials to complete the buildout of reatil projects. Traveled to various projects to ensure completion and quality of each project.

Was promoted when the VP of Construction retired to lead the Construction Department. Managed Architetcts, Project Management, Purchasing Manager, Facilities Manager and Department Coordinator. Managed as many as 200 projects from start to completion. Ran construction meetings involving Real Estate to decide on construction start dates and completion dates. Made decisions on the Purchasing of Materials for new store buildouts. Worked with Marketing on sign placement and holders as well as Merchandising for clothing count and accessory displays. Worked closely with multiple vendors to order materials such as lighting, signs, fixtures, flooring mateirals, stock room shelving, locks, panic hardware and paints for multiple construction projects. Responsible for the expediting of materials to the job sites. Worked with over seas vendors to order large quantities of fixtures.

Hired and fired vendors due to service. Worked closely with the Project Managers and General Contractors after the completion of new stores for warranty issues if they were to arise. Responsible for ordering finish mateirals as needed for repairs within the stores.
