I designed eLearning modules for the new AMEPOnline website, which provides interactive lessons for adult learners of English. I created lessons for beginner-level English (Initial and Course in EAL), as well lessons on health and safety, numeracy, digital literacy and citizenship. I also designed and developed a book on digital literacy for the English Ready (Certificate I) series. Additionally, I developed LWA's pre-training assessment kit for digital literacy, oral communication and learning strategies, for use in the AMEP and SEE Program.Tasks: designing eLearning lessons, mapping content to the EAL Framework, storyboarding, sourcing images, writing alt text, writing scripts, recording voiceovers, creating animated videos, contributing ideas for new templates and interactions, testing built modules, collaborating (with SMEs, eLearning developers and graphic designers).

I developed the website englishexpress.com.au which includes two eBooks, 'English Express Beginner Workbook' and 'My Busy Day' for adult learners of English. The resources also include hundreds of animated videos, which provide extensive listening practice, language modelling and vocabulary input. The resources are currently being used all around Australia in adult English classes, and even in many locations overseas.Tasks: authoring two eBooks, sourcing/editing/designing images, designing texts, creating animations using Vyond Studio, recording and editing voiceovers, web design.

I took on various roles in Charter Australia, a vocational college specialising in community services and English language teaching. As a director of studies, I developed and registered new courses (English for Healthcare and Nursing, General English, Certificates in Spoken and Written English). English for Healthcare and Nursing is a specialised popular course that is a drawcard for overseas students. As an instructional designer, I developed, edited and contextualised resources and assessment tools for community services (including aged care), infection prevention and foundation skills (FSK).Tasks: course planning, syllabus development, writing training and assessment strategies (TAS), writing ASQA and CRICOS registration documents, procuring resources, designing and implementing an online placement test, revising and writing policies and procedures, marking English assessments and issuing certificates, writing website and social media content, relief teaching when required.

As a member of the Curriculum Team, I developed assessment tasks for the Skills for Education & Employment Program (SEE), basic computer skills courses, and vocational (VET) courses. I also created learning booklets, designed online learning lessons, and conducted teacher training and induction.

I taught English in the Language, Literacy & Numeracy Program (LLNP, now known as the SEE Program). I also taught basic computer skills and job-seeking strategies. Students were mostly migrants, with English levels ranging from pre-beginner to advanced.
