Manages day-to-day operations of the HWIL team. Conducts meetings with the team, providing guidance and coordination as necessary for scheduling. Attends meetings and provides input on areas of expertise where applicable. Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for customer consultation and problem resolution in matters regarding test event support. Provides technical consultation to other organizations as needed. Follow procedures and document departures from normal procedures. Writes and follows procedures, document configuration requirements and changes, and verifies system, software, and hardware settings continuously. Proactively troubleshoots and overcomes functional/technical problems. Data analysis, documentation, and reporting on all the above responsibilities as required.

Development, management, and planning of current and future capabilities as it relates to the BMDS (specifically related to the performance and threat portion of the system). Review, analyze, and make recommendations on BMDS performance requirements (requirements development, additions, variances, and threat allocations). Provide quality checks on analysis, documents, engineering notebooks, and presentations related to performance requirements. Support the Technical Baseline through engineering analysis, document development, presentations, change requests, and follow the process for inclusion onto the baseline. Develop and mentor basic and intermediate personnel.

THAAD Element Test LeadTest lead of the THAAD element in support of the MDA/AMRDEC’s SED Sim-Over-Live Drive (SOLD) lab during test events, such as Ground Tests and System-Level Pre-Mission Tests and Flight Reconstructions. Primary duties include: the management and allocation of test team personnel (15 members) with the SOLD Test Director to accommodate test events and performing test lead responsibilities for THAAD within the SOLD lab during testing. Responsible for pre-test operations (software installation, battle plan construction/delivery and event run areas), in-test operations (TFCC operator) and post-test operations (data collection and dissemination). Responsible for the operational readiness of SOLD test components during testing, to included TFCC, SOLD, AN/TPY-2 TM, CDLI-M, NSITE and ancillary lab equipment. Additional duties include interfacing directly with the test community and the THAAD Project Offices, provide assistance to the SOLD Analysis team and providing presentations to Warfighters in support of testing, as well as to government leadership during lab tours. When required, provide additional support during SOLD System Test, Software Change Request testing and develop/update lab operating procedures. Also tasked with RCS mapping for SOLD and SIU interface.

THAAD Test EngineerPerformed Operator-in-the-Loop (OITL) duties while utilizing both tactical and commercial software and GFE/COTS hardware in support of the THAAD Weapon System during real-time Ground and Flight Test testing. Duties included utilizing multiple software items while performing component specific functionality: THAAD TFCC, AN/TPY-2 TM Radar, SOLD, CDLI-M, and NSITE. Provided data configuration management activities of logged radar MLF files, TFCC Rec files and NSITE database files. Routinely performed post processing of MLF files to generate LRID Matlab files. Responsible for the editing and creating of initialization files and run areas though the use of shell visual editors (VI, nedit, gedit) and provided shell scripts when tasked across multiple operating systems (RHEL, HP-UX, Solaris).

Logistics Analyst Point of contact for all hard copy data requests and deliveries that were distributed through the THAAD Evaluation Center Configuration Management Team. Tracked data movement utilizing spreadsheets and reported statuses to the customer when inquired. Additional duties consisted of performing acting task lead for the TEC CM and attending IPTs when required, sending and receiving approval letters to the THAAD Project Office customers and maintaining the number of trouble reports that were received. Additionally prepared the specifications for a database that showed all the tactical build release related data the TEC CM Team has within its library.
