Lead and manage all aspects of the shift operations of the line resulting in continuous improvements in efficiencies, reduced costs and improved quality.3. Conducts performance appraisals for hourly employees so that all sections of the appraisal are completed fully and with supporting documentation as required.4. Conducts employee corrective action forms with respect to Counseling and Disciplinary Action processes so that all sections of the required forms are completed fully and with supporting documentation as required.5. Manage work schedule so that significant events on the line are managed appropriately and with excellent communication with and among all supervisors.6. Manage by walking around (MBWA) and lead by example.7. Implementation of the TAMKO Playbook.8. Encourage employee loyalty and morale.9. Complete first aid and CPR training and act as a First Responder during plant emergencies.10. Complete offsite training as required.11. Motivate and train employees to willingly comply with all required laws, rules, policies and procedures using follow up techniques as needed to ensure compliance.12. Interface and coordinate collaboratively with other TAMKO departments and employees as team members.13. Implement, promote and enforce plant safety/environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance.14. Maintain and improve housekeeping levels to "world class" status including sustaining in 5S initiatives.15. Utilize raw materials usage at standard cost levels or below.16. Operate within approved headcount levels.17. Coordinate quality control procedures so that UL and other advertised product features are present in finished goods. Lead and work to maximize compliance with specifications and minimize product variation.18. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives.19. Support and implement Anti-Tampering measures to reduce process variation.
