As a speech and language therapist, I experienced and understood the value of being aware of these differences. As a result of these experiences, as a business owner I believe in having people and a culture that seeks to understand and embrace the nuances of different languages and backgrounds, in order to be able to help the families we serve effectively and holistically.When I first started the company (as just Dinosaur Speech Therapy back then), the mission was clear: to provide creative, fun and engaging therapy and intervention that would maximise a child's learning, and encourage more to espouse and adopt this approach. In my years of work I have lost count of the number of stressed-out and burnt out parents who - amidst all their worrying - have forgotten that helping their children improve can also be fun! I wanted to emphasise and use the factor of fun in learning for all children - especially for those who need that extra bit of help. With time, we have expanded beyond speech therapy to providing comprehensive services for children that require that extra bit of support. While our services now are more wide-ranging, the core principles that guide our approaches remain the same.At Dinosaur Therapy Group, our philosophy is to always do what works best for each child.
