Bernard Van der Lande is a global investor with extensive experience across operating businesses and asset strategies; has transacted on or recapitalized a variety of public and private investment vehicles; and has built strong relationships with sophisticated institutional investors and sources of capital, globally. Mr. Van der Lande is part of the global leadership team for Cindat Capital Management, an international investment manager for which he oversees investment strategy, partnerships, capital formation and day-to-day cross-border operations for its legacy, digital and ESG businesses.Bernard Van der Lande was previously the Chief Issuance Officer of Templum, a Raptor Group portfolio company that provides regulated market infrastructure for the digital asset sector, including a blockchain-enabled platform for capital raising and secondary trading. In this capacity, he helped author the proof-case for tokenization of real estate.Prior to joining Templum, Mr. Van der Lande was Managing Director of Easterly LLC, an asset management holding company with interests in alternative assets and investment management firms. Previously, he was Managing Director of CBRE Capital Advisors, Inc., CBRE's real estate investment banking business, and before that was Managing Director of Hodges Ward Elliott, a global lodging brokerage business where he expanded operations into Brazil, Asia and the Middle East. Bernard began his career in strategy and sales with The Coca-Cola Company, and several years in Asia.Bernard is a Dutch-American dual citizen. Interested in technology innovation across property, agriculture, travel, and finance, he has invested in and/or advises Do Good Organics, Producers Market, Estating, Graceful.io, and Arvol - a carbon offset savings token to stop climate change, backed by 8,300 hectares in Mainque, Rio Negro, Argentina. Personal passions include Humanist Photography, Languages, Outdoor Education, and Wilderness Medicine. Bernard Co-Chairs the Advisory Council of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), and serves as Treasurer on the Board for the Vermont Center for Photography.
