Diversified professional, and former corporate attorney, with experience leading complex international projects centered on corporate sustainability strategy (e.g., energy transition, zero waste, water stewardship, DCF commodity supply chains).At Walmart, I lead our global ESG strategy for environmental issues (e.g., climate change, energy transition, our approach to sourcing more sustainable commodities, water stewardship, waste reduction and circularity initiatives, and engagement in public policy. Walmart is the world's largest company, the world's largest retailer, and the world's largest private sector employer. Prior to Walmart:US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC): Founded and led the sustainability team that advised our ~175 member companies on related challenges, risks and opportunities across ASEAN. During my time at USABC we built the largest U.S. private sector led sustainability initiative in Southeast Asia. Since 1984 USABC has been the premier trade association for U.S. companies operating in Southeast Asia.Sake Brewers Association of North America (SBANA): Founded (pro bono) the first sake industry trade association outside of Japan. From its beginning until early 2021, I led our teams as the de facto Executive Director with guidance and support from the Japanese and U.S. governments, private industry, and sake brewers across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. I rolled onto SBANA's executive board in early 2021 when we hired a permanent President. Currently we represent more than 95% of the North American industry--and continue to grow.Capacity Partners: Advised international non-profits on their business and operational strategies as they sought to improve their service to their communities.
