I launched Safecoms Australia in 1999, based on the expertise acquired for 10 years running the European headquarters of Pacer Software inc, a Boston company.Safecoms rapidly became a leader in security providing services and products to finance industry, manufacturing, wholesales and government.as we expended to Asia, I merged the Safecoms office with the sphere group from the UK and today the company is continuing its growth supplying expertise to large enterprise in Australia.I remained on the board of Directors

After I sold Pacer in 97, I decided to learn to speak Japanese. I went to a private school in Tokyo and then took an intensive course in Osaka.I reached some decent fluency in the language, I still keep up with it today. I then travelled Japan and Later the Southern Hemisphere to finally decide to settle in Australia.

Pacer was the result of a deep passion for my 2 previous employers. I expressed it by merging the beauty of the Macintosh interface and user friendliness, together with the best engineered network at the time, DecNet running on Vax systems.Our aim was to connect the 2 together to give users the greatest computing experience, a wonderful interface and a slick network.Achievements:Created the European Division in 1987, with investment of US$1M. • Achieved $2M sales revenue in 1990 • Developed software specifically tailored to European market. • Recruited and trained over 40 employees. • Oversaw distribution of various products to 17 Countries.

Joined Digital Equipment Headquarters in Geneva to launch the Rainbow and Pro series initiative. It was the first move Digital made in the Personal Computer Technology and they needed external expertise. I also worked on the initiative "Apple-DEC is bigger than IBM" but our President finally backed out.Achievements:• Recruit and Motivate a network of Resellers in Europe. • Promoted sales through Computerland Europe. • Created computer school in Zurich, promoted through Digital • Elected on the Board of Director of DecUser Society in Paris

Recruited by Apple inc to support their launch in Europe, I became Regional Sales mgr, supporting Apple's penetration in Central Europe. Achievements:• Recruited and launched distribution agents in 6 countries. • Created sales programs per country, achieved $11M after 2 years • Created Apple Computer Belgium in 83 and achieved budget.

With a passion for being a pioneer, I decided to launch one of the first computer shop in Belgium. I sold ITT 2020, Pet Commodore, TRS 80 and my favourite, the Apple II.achievements:• Signed reselling agreement with 4 major manufacturers • Developed a service center for Micro computers • Created the first Computer Club in Belgium (Carolo Computer Club)
