In support of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), I develop, maintain, and enhance the CasaNOSA website and the CASrt analysis tool. CasaNOSA is an open source project management application used by NOAA to plan weather monitoring projects. CASrt is a client based Java webstart data analysis tool.Enhancing team effectiveness through peer review, collaboration, and employee training on new technologies.Interacting with NOAA employees to gather requirements, feedback, and resolve issues with software. *CasaNOSA 2 Redesign*Leading the development of the redesign of the CasaNOSA project management web application from a PHP5 AJAX implementation to a Java and Adobe Flex implementation using Spring MVC, Hibernate, and Apache CXF.Designed a generic history tracking system, providing fine grained data recovery and auditing for the entire database.Key technologies: Java, J2EE, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Apache CXF, Adobe Flex, AS3 Signals, MySQL 5, Apache Tomcat*CASrt 2.0 Data Analysis Tool*Re-engineered the data driven CASrt 1.0 data analysis completely.
