Worked with Business Units at CalDOJ to identify gaps in the data feed from Disposition Processor (Dispo) to the Automated Criminal History System (ACHS). Made recommendations for improvement of process and assisted in implementing and testing of approved changes.Generated reports for use by the office of the California Attorney General. Reports generated statistics on Recidivism for use by the new Division of Recidivism Reduction and Re-Entry at CalDOJ.Designed, developed, documented and implemented new API for use by current and future batch processes. Updated CR5000 batch process and related Message Key Interfaces to use new API. Current CR5000 production job required hours of manual work on failure to reset data to generate output data files for use by a Data Mart. Redesign eliminates need for manual data reset and only requires re-start of batch job to generate output data files.

• Responsible for the redesign of Cal ISO MasterFile (MFRD) database for use in MRTU, an Enterprise wide Market redesign.• Designed, developed and implemented all schema objects including stored procedures, triggers and materialized views for MFRD.• Supported use of MFRD by downstream systems by creating custom materialized views, providing training sessions and documenting processes and procedures.• Worked directly and indirectly with the following downstream systems/applications to gather requirements for MFRD and to support same systems to retrieve data from MFRD: IFM/RTM, SIBR, CRR, SLIC, Actuate, ADS, CAP, EMS, ETCC, Oasis, Omar.• Worked directly with The MFRD Business Unit, MRTU Test and Integration teams to support Cal ISO Market Simulations and other MRTU deliverable.

• Responsible for all Oracle and SQL Server databases in use at Dorado. Extensive Java programming in JDBC and other related areas for core product (Oware, a Java n-tier application development environment).• Determined low cost, high availability solution for major client using Oracle Master-to-master Replication. Solution entailed modifications to Oware as well as associated Oracle triggers, and stored procedures. Solution enabled client to maintain high availability requirements without additional costs associated with setting up Oracle Parallel Server.• Converted all Oracle stored procedures and triggers to work under SQL Server. Worked with team to modify JDBC code to access SQL Server. Oware is now able to support both Oracle and SQL Server with the same API (property file controls which JDBC compliant database is accessed).

• Project Manager for the ILOG Test/Integration Environment. The environment would allow the business to validate business rules being developed for use by ILOG. ILOG is a decision engine that would interface with The Money Store Point of Sale system.• Designed, and implemented the Physical Data-Model for the Enterprise-wide, n-tier, Point Of Sale Loan Origination System in Oracle. Responsibilities included review and recommendations for enhancements to system, schema maintenance, auditing and monitoring tool development, documentation, reporting, and tuning.• Worked closely with analysts, middle-tier and client developers, and project managers during the design, development, testing, and implementation of POS. The middle-tier and client are developed in Active Works and Java respectively.• Administered over 250 Interbase databases over 75 DG and Sun Servers. Main focus was on process improvement and automation tools. Automation tools written in Unix shell scripts. Writing of tools led to training classes for IT department on tool set and shell scripting.• Other responsibilities included application dissemination (imbedded C), application routing (Informix), and monitoring and replication of the Informix National DB.
