Expert in dealing with the orderly resolution of European banks for the SRB - the central Resolution Authority of the Euroarea - in order to avoid future bail-outs while safeguarding financial stability and financial institutions support to the real economy.⌂ Active involvement on crisis management of financial institutions. ⌂ Experience in corporate and project finance advisory and strategic advisory for both the public and private clients in the infrastructure sector, mainly Transports and Energy sectors.⌂ Main responsibilities included: financial model development for financing, M&A and debt restructuring processes; DCF valuations; economic and financial cost-benefit analysis of investment projects; advisory on applications for grants and financing under EU funding programmes; advisory on the development of the strategic plan for market leaders in the infrastructure sector; technical support to the Strategic Plan for Transportation and Infrastructure for the Portuguese Government.

⌂ Conducted empirical research and analysys using STATA and wrote a policy study regarding the effectiveness of macroprudential tools and policy instruments in controlling house prices and mortgage credit growth. Compiled data obtained from a Bloomberg terminal and provided from Central Banks and the OCDE, World Bank, BIS and IMF databanks.⌂ Presented the study results to the Financial Stability Department Board.⌂ Internship performance was rated as "Excellent" by the Department Board.
