I am an award-winning bi-lingual, book, film, advertisement, and podcast writer, director, and producer.I worked for nine years in the independent film and advertisement industry. Wrote, and directed two and produced three independent feature films, many short films, advertisements, one web series, and more than a hundred events and corporate videos. I've worked for international clients like Huawei, Samsung, and QuickBooks, for government agencies such as the Secretary of Tourism of the State of Puebla and Mexico City's Subway System, and for NGOs such as Educadores Sin Fronteras.I left my film production company in 2018 to concentrate on writing and activism. I have volunteered or worked in NGOs and mutual aid programs cleaning rivers and dams, planting trees, building and repairing houses, developing promotional videos, organizing food and medicine runs, and translating materials from English to Spanish. In 2020 I published two nonfiction books in Spanish about horizontal organizing. In 2021, I joined 3 other workers to fund “ACB, Activist Children’s Books Coop” for which I have written 6 books, 2 of which are currently being illustrated. During the height of the pandemic, I wrote, directed, and edited 2 podcast audio dramas in English about immigrants and one children’s podcast about love in Spanish. The latter stayed at Apple Podcast Mexico's top charts all through its 12-episode releases.I am looking to expand my creative and professional boundaries in a remote environment. I will continue writing books, I will probably direct another film in the future, and I would love to write and get involved in expansive projects.
