I developed and prototyped a robotic hand orthosis to assist Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis patients. The device reads both the brain and muscle signals of the user to provide mechanical assistance while not being invasive for the patient. The project prototype encompasses electronic design, programming, signal analysis, 3D printing and medical research to achieve a functional end product.

I modernized a water monitoring and control device in a month-long project. This device operates at city-wide drinking water tanks that distribute the water service to Mexico City households. The modernization implemented new wireless communications and optimizations through the inclusion of microcontroller and telecommunications innovations that later yielded significant consumption savings and efficient operation.
