As a mechanical engineering professional with substantial experience on international projects, research and in the manufacturing process since university, I have begun to craft out a career rooted in operational excellence, open communication, health and safety and, of course, consistently quality engineering.I apply strong coordination and teamwork skills in everything I do, and am able to adapt and empathise in a wide expanse of different environments, both at an industrial and university level. In this vein, I have found that I am especially able in project management and team supervision capacities, and would like to continue to develop these aspects in future roles.I enjoy the ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, allowing work packages to continue uninterrupted and to client specifications. To aid this, I am always willing to learn and seek knowledge, as well as evaluating points of improvement in both my own and others’ work.I have also undertaken several multi-industry courses to expand my skillset beyond my MSc in Mechanical Engineering. All of these opportunities have enabled me thus far to become the best possible engineering professional I can be, and an invaluable presence on and off sites. I have a typically safety-conscious but goal oriented professional approach and endeavour to provide support, guidance and training to those around me, in the interest of helping them become the best they can be as well.More information on my career trajectory can be found below, but if you want to find out more directly, feel free to mail me via LinkedIn’s messenger, or connect to build a lasting network connection

Summer Internship: Internship In The Area Of Maintenance Of Fixed ElementsSomincor - Lundin Mining Jul 2017 - Aug 2017Castro VerdeDuring my study-adjacent month and a half gaining real-world engineering and technical experience, I was able to put the skills and knowledge I was gaining at university into practice.Involved in a support capacity, I monitored progress of repairs and major overhauls across several busy workshop environments, ensuring all tools and machinery were in place and functional to match the business’s needs. This meant applying SAP skills, managing inventory and working with the permanent workers to propose meaningful changes for preventive maintenance of new equipment, with subsequent preparation and updating of technical manuals and notes for the equipment.
