Operations Manager - Centralized Production Center
Current+ Mobilize leadership abilities to foster a standard of excellence for a facility featuring 50+ employees – including supervisors – to ensure on-time delivery of materials and supplies+ Deduce business challenges and customer sentiment data to develop specialized, high-touch solutions and align FedEx’s capabilities with customer expectations and business growth objectives+ Leverage short- and long-term plans and strategic planning efforts to align budgets and operating plans; establish and develop business objectives and continuous improvement plans to cultivate performance across the entire facility+ Work side-by-side with senior leadership to analyze, plan, and evaluate operations reports; interface with cross-functional leaders to reduce costs, generate revenue, and manage inventory+ Foster mutually beneficial, impactful relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to optimize distribution center performance and align site-specific policies and procedures+ Synthesize manager performance and store metrics to increase productivity and tailor training techniques; conduct 1:1 meetings for low-performing leaders to generate solutions, discuss best practices, and promote business areas+ Conceptualize, implement, and design structural elements (i.e., processes, systems, and action plans) and revamped and updated standard operating procedures to achieve consistency and organizational culture standards + Optimize the implementation of team member professional development and continuous training by partnering with the site leadership team on best practices for effective training strategy techniques and implementation+ Employ management competencies to resolve challenges for a wide range of complexities, including inventory discrepancies, safety violations, and staffing challenges
