I am very pleased and honoured to have just completed my 8-month contract at the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in Cambridge, where I worked as part of a dedicated team conducting photoshoots under the specifications of the museum guidelines, photographing and handling fragile materials and cultural-sensitive objects, digitising historical photographs and films, and process digitised materials suitable for MAA, publications, exhibitions and research projects. I am looking forward to continuing to expand my experience and skills in this field.During my time at MAA, i have the honour to complete and contributed towards two projects specifically for the repatriation program: Uganda and Benin. These projects have further expanded my working experience with different materials, from organic to metal, in various sizes and further understanding the cultures.In my other responsibilities, I have been digitising historical photographic collections from John Roscoe, G. I. Jones, and James Hornell, which the MAA wonderfully cares for.For my personal work, I love creating concepts for all my projects, and the main focus is always on translating visions or messages into an image. With a background in commercials and product photography, my love for creating high quality visuals continue. And I am pleased with the opportunity I obtained from MAA, it opened up the horizon for me to grow and learning new ways to see things.Currently, I am further enhancing myself with a short online course by MoMA - Seeing Through Photographs.
