- Design and develop electrical hardware and software systems and components for a variety of products.- Collaborate with software engineers and other professionals to develop a product concept and create a prototype that integrates hardware and software.- Design and test electrical circuits and systems, and develop software and firmware to control and operate the product.- Use tools and technologies such as microcontrollers, sensors, and embedded systems to create prototypes.- Conduct various tests and simulations to ensure that the product meets performance and safety standards, both in hardware and software.- Work with regulatory agencies to ensure that the product meets applicable regulations and standards for both hardware and software.- Continuously look for ways to improve the hardware and software components, such as identifying opportunities to optimize performance, reduce costs, or enhance user experience.- Stay up-to-date with the latest hardware and software technologies and trends, and incorporate new technologies into product designs when appropriate.
