My position within Anglo American’s Supply Chain from 2008-2015, involved leading the Learning and Development practice to support the establishment of a global strategic sourcing and procurement systems organization. My focus was on the development of talent and organizational effectiveness with both Corporate and Business Unit Supply Chain individuals and teams, based in Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, United Kingdom and South Africa..Since 2002, I have been actively delivering HR generalist work including performance management, organisational restructuring and recruitment. I frequently engage with senior executives.My work included supporting the recruitment of senior roles, making managers and teams more effective and ensuring that succession planning was actively supported, through targeted development of key talent. I have extensive experience as a facilitator and trainer and I enjoy the challenge of helping people to find their way through conflict to a common purpose. I have frequently facilitated large functional strategy sessions on direct request from function heads. I have also acquired the necessary expertise needed to project manage events, conferences and learning programmes. Part of my mandate at Anglo American included developing and deploying large global learning & development programmes (known as "Capability Accelerator") focused on leadership and customized to deliver the business results of the Supply Chain function. I have a strong interest and practice in developing entrepreneurs & was fortunate to co-develop the Entrepreneur Internship Programme (EIP) together with my colleague and business partner Tijen Diraz and an implementation partner Aurik Business Incubator.
