Mid-size chemical company for water treatment, oil and gas chemicals and equipment supplies, reverse osmosis, and ultrafiltration• Performed business case evaluations using the Discounted Cashflow method (DCF), and prepared documentation to support top management decisions-making process for capital investments (projects, divestitures, acquisitions, portfolio ranking). Evaluated several financing sources and schemes (project and corporate finance, with/without export credit agencies, venture capital), decision-trees analyses and other aspects that could impact the expected results (contractual, strategic, operational, incentives and tax issues)• Advised the CEO and senior management on the project portfolio analysis, by considering operational process, developing financial models, performing the economic evaluation, including financing, strategic, contracting and operational issues, and determining the expected returns (Net Present Value). Delivered presentations, executive reports and business plan• Analyzed and estimated returns for projects such as chemical plants for a petrochemical company (NaClo, clorosoda NaOH and HCL plants and an Hypochlorite train upgrade), waste and process- water treatment projects in Venezuela and Argentina, and participation in four ongoing oil production associations in T&T, considering 5-20 years projected cash flow, organization, SWOT analysis, sensitivity and scenarios analysis, financing and the preparation of executive report or business plan. Total investment $160 million• Designed and executed long-term financial planning seminars for the C-suite personnel and managers, to determine the operational fees to include in medium to long-term service proposals• Valuated 50% of a gasket production plant and determined expected return using the DCF method. 90% of its production was for oil joint ventures-JV in the Orinoco Belt, one of the largest crude deposits worldwide
