He taught Holocaust and Genocide Studies graduate courses at Rutgers University, and currently teaches communications and public speaking at Yeshiva University and Rutgers.He recently received the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Humanitarian Award. He also received the Chaplain of the Year Award from The New York Board of Rabbis for his efforts during and following 9-ll. On June 10, 2002 Rabbi Rosenberg was presented with the annual Rabbi Israel Mowshowitz Award by The New York Board of Rabbis. He is Chairman of the Holocaust Commission of the New York Board of Rabbis, and served as Interfaith Chairman of the New Jersey State Holocaust Commission for six years. He is Associate Editor of the New Jersay State Holocaust Curriculum. Rabbi Rosenberg appears frequently on radio and TV and has published hundreds of articles regarding the Holocaust. Rabbi Rosenberg has recently published The Rosenberg Holocaust Siddur, in memory of his parents Jacob and Rachel Rosenberg.
