Bernice Davidson has a strong business background in a niche market. Under her guidance Support Services Unlimited became the largest provider of association management services in Vancouver. She worked with groups to create effective budgets and strategic plans, meanwhile entertaining Prime Ministers and royalty until she sold the business in 1998.Since that time she has been working as a Personal Historian and more recently has written company histories.Bernice is a three time past president and founding board member of The Canadian Women Voters Congress. In 2004 she was the keynote speaker at Yale University for the Women’s Campaign School there. Other volunteer activities have included the YMCA (she was one of the Y’s Canadian representatives at a conference in Seoul, Korea), Canadian Offices Services Association and Lions Gate Palliative Care. Her studies focused on sociology, philosophy, psychology and political science. These studies of people in groups and as individuals led her to her passion for writing. Over the past nine years she has developed her talent as a personal historian. Believing that there is great value in assessing our lives as we progress, she encourages those who are newly retired or going through a transition to write their life story.
