About Bernie Pentony

I have extensive experience working in the field of childhood care and early education. I have been working in this area since 1989. For the past thirty years, I have been employed in an early intervention preschool programme with the Department of Education and Skills.I am a part-time tutor delivering FETAC level 5 and 6 modules in Early Childhood Education & Special Needs Assisting in ETB/ Institute of Further Education. I am a part-time lecturer on a degree programme in Early Childhood Studies at a third level institute (Dundalk Institute of Technology) I completed a Master's in Learning and Teaching at Dundalk Institute of Technology in 2023.I am passionate about my professional work.I am a member of the Teaching Council.
