Articulation Officer
• Facilitate course-to-course articulation with universities (CSU, UC, private institutions)• Develop and maintain lower division major preparation articulation agreements• Serve as liaison with UC, CSU and private institutions• Coordinate California Common Course Numbering System (C-ID) articulation• Serve as site manager for ASSIST: input and update all curriculum information on web ASSIST• Develop IGETC (Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum) and CSU GE/Breadth annual reports for submission to both the CSU Chancellor’s Office and the University of California Office of the President• Submit requests to the University of California for development of the UC TCA (Transfer Course Agreement)• Participate in state and regional articulation organizations: CIAC (California Intersegmental Articulation Council) Regions III and IV, NCIAC (Northern California), and CIAC state-wide meetings• Contribute as liaison between receiving institutions and academic divisions, facilitating meetings and other interactions between university and community college faculty• Serve as voting member on Curriculum Committee• Assist faculty with review of comparable university-level courses to promote transferability of classes • Coordinate transfer activities with the Transfer Center Director to identify articulation needs and implement provisions of the state transfer/articulation grant• Disseminate articulation information clearly and in a timely manner to counselors, division deans and instructional faculty• Develop and manage information for the college Transfer/Articulation web page• Review catalog for accuracy regarding transferability of courses• Work closely with faculty in the development of curriculum that will be transferable and appropriate for meeting lower division major preparation requirements at feeder institutions• Update and manage the College Baccalaureate List• Respond to requests for curricular information from receiving institutions
