CurrentLeadership responsibility of all software development for two of the Tax and Accounting professional segments – Firm Management and Research and Learning (R&L) -- 20 global software development teams, 180 team members. Software spans PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, and a small footprint of on-premise, with different degrees of modernization, architectural maturity, and code quality.Significant accomplishments include bringing to market an advanced Global Audit platform (for financial prep, comps, reviews, and complex audits) that includes innovative application of Machine Learning for improving the workflow.Leadership responsibility on the integration of the 2020 acquisition of XCM into Wolters Kluwer, including people leadership. This expanded breadth of CCH Axcess and improved our customers workflow and resource planning capabilities.Planned, organized, and led the 1st Wolters Kluwer CCH Code Games, a SW Dev innovation competition. Created the "Code Games" name, themes, and operations. Code Games has been covered positively in print and online by Forbes Magazine, where it was described by Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting CEO Karen Abramson as part of the company’s three-part innovation program that fosters “a constant eco-system of innovation across the organization.” A 3rd party attending Code Games wrote this about our event: "Coding competitions/events like this are nothing new, but running a good one is never easy – required ingredients include a positive, nurturing culture, some serious organizational and editorial skills, and (of course) sharp developers.” In 2023, Code Games became a Wolters Kluwer corporate innovation tournament, and since then in 2023 and 2024 over 3000 teams from all WK divisions now participate.Led 6 projects (2018-2024) that advanced to the WK Global Innovation Awards Finals. Presented 4 to our CEO and Innovation Board. Finals selection represents the top 2% of all ideas submitted. Won 1st place in 2023 and 2024 for Best Use of AI.
