As the Youth Development Director I led an Associate Youth Development Director, Challenge Course Manager and a team of coordinators and front-line staff to ensure the best-in-class execution of our afterschool, camp, teens, outdoor experience and YScholars programs. Reporting to the Senior Program Director and working closely with the Youth Development team, this position will create and lead an ecosystem of innovative youth-serving programs at the assigned branch. Directly supervise all sports camp counselors including hiring, firing, coaching, and scheduling. Make sure the daily schedule and curriculum is being implemented as it has been planned. Responsible for parent communication and any disciplinary action required. Lead weekly staff meetings and help staff create an inclusive environment for all participants in our programs.
