Project Mosaic represents a consortium of ALS nonprofits and industry stakeholders dedicated to accelerating the development of effective treatments for ALS by moving a promising new class of ALS disease models from academic labs to industry. By making it possible for drugmakers to develop and test targeted treatments for subgroups of patients, Project Mosaic aims to overcome a key barrier to ALS drug development and transform the fight against this brutal disease.

Duos is a technology and engagement services company that helps Medicare beneficiaries stay healthy and independent by identifying solutions to their food, transportation, care navigation and fall prevention needs and making those solutions easy to access and use. As founding advisor, I oversaw the company's launch and built the founding team. As a key member of the leadership team, I shifted the company from tech-enabled services to software; launched DUOS' first SaaS offering and defined 18 month roadmap to put the power of the platform in users' hands. I also helped the company navigate the 2022 venture market correction, and built partnerships with major national brands.

Co-teaching HCMG867: Healthcare Entrepreneurship, a course for Wharton MBAs and other UPenn graduate students that covers venture ideation, launch, fundraising, and more.

Led or co-led the diligence, business plan development and launch of multiple companies including Calibrate, DUOS, Together Senior Health, and a still-to-be-named media company. Built founding teams, recruited advisors, oversaw MVP product and brand development, negotiated real estate and legal terms, pitched investors, honed initial go-to-market approach (DTC + enterprise), led partnership strategy and more. Thematic focus areas included virtual care delivery, future of aging, and rare disease R&D.

Served as a healthcare strategist and SME focused on product/service ideation and development, brand strategy, corporate and commercial strategy, consumer research, new venture launch, and business development. Clients included a major genomic diagnostics manufacturer, the digital therapeutics team of a major life sciences company, the innovation group of a major national health system, among others.

Led the company's Employer & Health Services verticals to drive strategy, product priorities, solution development, sales and delivery success. This work built on prior work as the lead for the company's enterprise product management and solutions function, during which I pivoted the company's commercialization approach from a focus on features/functions to solutions and value and built out new processes to support commercial scalability and growth. Additional responsibilities have included: contributing solutions strategy on multiple major deals; redesigning the company's pricing processes/approach; codifying the company's AI strategy; project managing key aspects of the corporate strategic planning process 2015-2017.

Advised Fortune 500 companies in the technology and healthcare sectors on growth strategies and business model innovation. Example case work: devising a tablet computer launch strategy for a major consumer electronics company; identifying growth pathways for a major IT player facing steep competitive pressures; developing a new service model for a national retailer to re-position it in market, bolster core competencies and restore it to growth; designing a multi-channel consumer engagement strategy for a $12B+ health services company; developing a new model of public-private partnership designed to accelerate job growth and economic development in for a top 20 U.S. metro area's economic development corporation. Also contributed to significant business development by helping the firm develop proprietary frameworks and strategies around demand generation, brand + consumer experience design, and volume-value/patient-consumer healthcare innovation. This work contributed to tens of millions in new case work.

Provided research assistance to two Harvard economists Claudia Goldin and Lawrence Katz who were investigating whether for-profit colleges are a promising new delivery vehicle for higher education or whether they are under-delivering; also studied changing opportunities for women in the labor force (notably pharmacy) and the economic history of coeducational colleges

Supported the Laboratory's efforts to design, implement and evaluate full-scale randomized policy experiments in urban schools, the goal of which was to provide policymakers with robust, creative solutions for raising student achievement. Built research relationships with 51 New York City charter schools; devised econometric strategies; developed theoretical model; constructed and analyzed complex datasets; brainstormed new research ideas.
