We grew the program to 1.4K hours (40% over annual average) and drove combat mission readiness from 25% to 90%. These efforts fueled our single squadron’s ability to accomplish 2 short notice taskings from the Air Force to execute 2 4-month taskings in 1 year.I conducted multiple exercises with coalition partners, most notably Exercise JOINT WARRIOR where I secured an extra $273K in funding enabling the training for 100 people and 3 nations. Additionally, I was the Personal Recovery Task Force Commander for Exercise SALAMANDER with the French Air Force where I led training for 5 squadrons and 110 people resulting in EUCOM's 1st-ever CSAR exercise with the French AF.One of my top initiatives was to revitalize squadron manning; during this time I increased manning for our Special Mission Aviators by 25%, added 4 Government Service hires & secured a $750K Functional Check Flight contract. Led base operating support for 175 Airman/250 Soldiers, the largest AF presence in Iraq at the time.
