My duties as a Psycho-oncology Lab Intern at the Psychosocial Wellbeing Institute:-Conducting a research project on "Cognitive Flexibility and Psychological Resilience Levels in Women Diagnosed with Breast Cancer"- Assistant of the "Psychoeducation to Families of Cancer Patients" program- Assistant of the "Art Therapy for Breast Cancer Patients" programDuring the process, I received supervision from Dr. Esra Savaş and benefited from her experiences.Psikososyal İyilik Enstitüsü'nde Psikoonkoloji Lab Stajyeri olarak görevlerim:-"Meme Kanseri Tanısı Alan Kadınlarda Bilişsel Esneklik ve Psikolojik Dayanıklılık Düzeyleri" konulu araştırma projesinin yürütülmesi.- "Kanser Hastalarının Ailelerine Psikoeğitim" programının asistanlığı- "Meme Kanseri Hastalarına Sanat Terapisi" programının asistanlığıSüreç içerisinde Dr. Esra Savaş'tan süpervizörlük almakta ve onun deneyimlerinden faydalanmaktayım.

I visited two clients for a total of fourteen sessions, with Prof Dr. Nilüfer Şehriban Özabacı supervising me. During this process, I gained the ability to pick up a variety of techniques and acquired a theoretical and practical understanding of counseling as a profession.Prof Dr. Nilüfer Şehriban Özabacı'nın danışmanlığında iki danışanımı toplam on dört seans gerçekleştirdim. Çeşitli teknikleri öğrenme fırsatı elde ettim ve bir meslek olarak danışmanlığın teorik ve pratik anlayışını kazandım.

I had the opportunity to turn theoretical knowledge into practice in the field of Psychological Counseling and Guidance under the supervision of Psychological Counseling teachers at Hasan Leyli Middle School Sibel Özaydın and Gurbet Adsız. We made presentations regarding the needs of the students in the classrooms. In addition, I provided individual psychological counseling to two students and observed both student and parent meetings conducted by my supervisors.Hasan Leyli Ortaokulunda Psikolojik Danışmanlık öğretmenlerinin gözetiminde Psikolojik Danışmanlık ve Rehberlik alanında teorik bilgileri pratiğe dönüştürme fırsatı buldum. Sınıflarda öğrencilerin ihtiyaçlarına yönelik sunumlar yaptık. Ayrıca iki öğrenciye bireysel psikolojik danışmanlık hizmeti verdim ve süpervizörlerim tarafından yürütülen hem öğrenci hem de veli toplantılarını gözlemledim.

I obtained experience in the Psychological Counseling and Guidance (PCG) department at Ataşehir Anatolian High School during my internship. In the school setting, I worked with guidance counselors Şeyda Yurtsever and Esra Çebi to get PCG training. I was able to put my theoretical knowledge into practice through a variety of practical tasks that I experienced during this process. Throughout my internship, I participated in collaboration and teamwork by taking on a variety of responsibilities. I was able to advance my professional development and hone my effective communication abilities through this encounter. My PCG knowledge and skills were enhanced during my internship at Ataşehir Anatolian High School, which also helped me lay a strong basis for my future profession.Ataşehir Anadolu Lisesi'nde gerçekleştirdiğim staj sürecinde, Psikolojik Danışmanlık ve Rehberlik (PDR) bölümünde deneyim kazandım. Rehber öğretmenler Şeyda Yurtsever ve Esra Çebi ile birlikte çalışarak, okul bağlamındaki PDR eğitimlerini aldım. Bu süreçte, teorik bilgileri pratiğe dönüştürme fırsatı bulduğum uygulamalı aktiveteler deneyimleme fırsatım oldu. Staj boyunca, işbirliği ve takım çalışması içinde yer alarak çeşitli görevlerde sorumluluk üstledim. Bu deneyim, etkili iletişim becerilerimi geliştirmeme ve mesleki gelişimime katkı sağlamama olanak tanıdı. Ataşehir Anadolu Lisesi'nde geçirmekte olduğum staj, PDR alanındaki bilgi ve becerilerimi güçlendirmekte ve gelecekteki kariyerime yönelik sağlam bir temel oluşturmama yardımcı oldu.
