In addition to holding a Bachelor of Business (Property) and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, Berrick is also a qualified property valuer and licensed real estate agent.During the Global Financial Crisis, Berrick successfully managed a number of challenging situations in the property investment management and property development industries including some of Australia’s most high profile insolvent property and funds management groups.Berrick established KordaMentha Investment Management, the strategic real estate investment management arm of KordaMentha, which focuses on creating value for investors through strategic real estate investments in Australia.In addition to his professional background, Berrick is the Founder and Chairman of the Chain Reaction Challenge Foundation, a not-for-profit cycling event management company established in 2007 after the birth of his first child. Since inception, the Chain Reaction Challenge has raised over $43 million for critically ill children and now hosts annual cycling events in Victoria, NSW and Queensland.
